SAP Calculations

We are a national provider of SAP calculations and on construction energy performance certificates for new build dwellings, extensions, conversions and material change of use buildings.

What we need from our clients (predictive stage)

• A Complete set of drawings including sections and elevations
• Full construction details (specification)
• Details of heating/hot water systems and fuel types
• Details of windows and doors including sizes, glazing type and frame type

Drawings can be sent to us in original full size paper format/PDF or CAD files

We can supply you with our specification template for new builds/conversions if required.

We recommend that ACD’s (approved construction details) are used as this will help towards achieving compliance.

At his stage we can produce your design stage (predictive) SAP calculation for building control purposes.

What if a predictive SAP fails?

Don’t worry! Our aim is to help you to achieve compliance, if the building fails (which is common) we will suggest design stage changes that will ensure a pass, we usually do not charge for this.

Post Build

Once you let us know that your building has been constructed we can produce your ‘as built’ SAP calculation.

We will need confirmation that the building has been constructed in accordance with the ‘design stage’ specification, if changes have made then we will need the details of the changes.

Once the design stage SAP calculation has been created we will produce the ‘on construction energy performance certificate’ for building control purposes.
